Good morning,My company (tech sales) sent out a notice earlier in the week about hard drive inventory. As you may have heard, the floods in Thailand will have an affect on the hard drive market. What we know today is that the recent floods in Thailand have compromised multiple hard drive and component manufacturing facilities' ability to operate at maximum capacity. The most severely affected manufacturer is Western Digital, but Hitachi may be feeling immediate impacts as well. We have taken steps to secure inventory for most of our top Western Digital skus, in most cases securing 9-12 weeks of inventory. When quoting Western Digital, Seagate, Toshiba and Hitachi hard drives, please use caution. If you are quoting an item that is not in our warehouse (or is on order), please make the customer aware that the pricing and availability is subject to change as the volatility of the market may require adjustments to the quote in the future. This is a very fluid situation that is impacting Western Digital and Hitachi to a greater degree and Seagate and Toshiba branded hard drives to a lesser degree. We will do our best to communicate more to you as more information becomes available. Have a super weekend,Linda
