Good plan on learning from O'Neil. I dumped DISK today. Figured if it hadn't moved by now it wasn't going to.

I am reading his books right now and have been picking up the Monday edition paper as well as once in awhile a paper on Wednesday. I am hesitant to subscribe to the paper but we will see. A friend of mine just subscribed so I will see how he likes it. In addition, I am thinking of attending a local IBD Meetup to see what that is like.

In the meantime, I am working on a screen using that will come close to returning IBD-like picks. Then I have been cross-referencing those picks against the weekly paper that I pick up. If a stock is well-rated in IBD and listed on my screen, I then begin looking at the technical indicators to see if it might be a buying opportunity.

Over on the Technical Trading board, I detailed my thoughts and purchase of GDP earlier this week. This is my first actual purchase made using the concepts of Canslim and my newbie abilities in TA.
