My daughter has about $500 that I would like to invest in stocks that pertain to her life (e.g., Disney, McDonald's, etc.) We'd only like to buy a couple shares of each, so she has about 5 or 6 different stocks in all, but this is hard, considering a lot of companies require minimum investments of $1,000. Does anyone have any good suggestions as to good stocks that are of interest to a young child and don't require such an exorbitant initial investment?
