This board has quieted down significantly. If anyone's still around, I'd love to hear opinions:I'm curious about how to verify the stats Google offers for their AdWords program. Last summer, I started a website for local landlords to advertise their listings online. So, my advertising has two focus groups-- landlords and tenants. I target both in local print media, but only tenants online.I have recently gotten calls from prospective advertisers who saw a (landlord-focused) print ad but didnt see any (tenant-focused) ads on Google. I then did my own Google searches and haven't seen my ad, either, over a period of several days. But according to my Google account info, I'm near top position and getting a good amount of click-throughs. I realize that the AdWords ads show up in places other than the search site. And some of those links show up on my webstats. But far fewer than the total numbers Google says. I feel like I'm getting screwed. Any thoughts?
