Great bunch of help you guys are. Here’s me trying to bring erudition to this board and what do you offer but inanity – what next, fart jokes? Do we take that slippery slide at which the bottom is about the bottom? Is this anyway to leave our legacy: posting without substance and centering on frivolity? What is the world coming to?

Today I let one rip that made echoes. I was in a meeting with about 25 others and, while I didn’t get applause, there was stunned silence as the reverberations shook the room. I immediately pressed on discussing the month end financials but it was hard to get back on track and doubly so letting another that made the room ring. I tried to make light of it : “That’s Obama’s first name,” but from that point there was more discussion of breaking wind than breaking sales.

I digress. What the Jester board needs is more ‘tone’ and be a little more high falutin’ than just inane banter.

To that end, pull my finger.
