Great, go for it. I retired at 53 when the company that I worked for downsized. I got the retirement package, pension, health plan, etc., that I would have to wait until 65 under normal circumstances. What I found out is that if one is bored, it is easy to get another job. Most employers are looking for people who are reliable and have a good work history even though they know you won't stay for long. After finally retiring after a couple more years of just working for the fun of it I became a Fool and the rollover IRA that I have keeps me busy since I manage it myself on an online broker.One thing that I am amazed at is that since retirement there is not enough time to get everything done in a day, because those days are so full and rich.Take care,Kalle
