Been running through my wish list of stocks to check up on them. One of the things I look for as a long term dividend investor is a company that is widely held by the people that run it. I went through and looked at: TargetJohn DeereRaytheonConoco PhillipsCaterpillar3MGeneral MillsCSXThese companies have almost no inside owners. What is a person to draw from this? I can't help but wonder. These stocks passed all my tests but insider ownership. They are also high right now, so they're not on the top of my list to buy right now. But wow.
