Overall group answers -
Yes, it is over, I am certain.
Yes, I have been checked for STDs - all clear (dont know about her husband- not my problem)
No, moving is unfortunately not a wise nor realistic financial choice right now. if only! It is also one of those things that is much easier said than done (market, underwater, jobs, cats, property values,etc)
Yes, I am still civil on chance encounters.
No, we are not at this time seeking counseling, but we are in a place where we can really just talk about it without emotion and accusation.
Yes, i know how unrealistic that sentence seems. We do talk about it, but we do not argue about it. Nothing to argue- it is over. All that is left is sorting through communication going forward and determining what is more important to each of us.
I appreciate all of the commentary and consideration.
I may drop in with an update in a year.
