I'm not sure what you're asking for here. If it's suggestions on portfolios for the retired, you might want to read a series of posts on that topic that appear in this folder. Just skip back to 8/29/97 and look under the subject "Retiree Portfolio." You'll see 20-some odd posts there. If you're looking to "play" with that money and don't need it to live on, then check out the Fool Workshop. There's plenty of ideas over there. Also, check out the Dow area.

Without specifics ideas on your goals for this "inevstment," knowing when you need it again, and your willingness to take risk, there just isn't much anyone can say to answer this question.
