Greetings, Guaynabo, and welcome. You asked:

Will your Special column appear on TMF home page, here or elsewhere? I have some years before 70 1/2 but would like to do some preplanning.

It will appear in the Specials section on TMF's home page when it's published. That will probably be on Tuesday or Wednesday from what I'm told.

Have you ever addressed/questioned if a person should consider spending more of their retirement savings while in their 60's versus savings accumulation and growth until 70 1/2. And then the government mandates the amount of withdrawals over the rest of your life time?

I've touched on the issue as it affects taxation of the family. In that regard, see the archived article "Which to Use First: Taxable or Tax-Deferred Accounts?" at http://www.fool.com/retirement/retireeport/1999/retireeport991227.htm.

Regards..Pixy
