Greetings,

If you want an actively managed international fund with a value tilt then DODFX is a good choice as you could look at their other funds and note that all have been pretty good and they will close a fund if they feel it is necessary which is quite nice.

Dodge and Cox are rather dull investors and so I doubt they would start a fund just to cash in on things as they only have 3 other funds. They are quite good at what they do and I'd think if you kick the tires some and decide not to jump in, be ok with that. Similarly on the flip side be OK with getting in if you want to as well as be aware that this isn't like you're putting your entire net worth into one fund right? Like you would have other investments, right?

Regards,
JB
