Greetings MORANDI,Does anyone know of any good financial planners out there? With respects to GADawg and Crosenfield, if you are 26 why not be your own financial planner? With a minimum of research you could do just as good a job(better?). It would not take long to acquire this knowledge, just trolling around TMF will get you started. If for some reason this suggestion just doesn't work for you, you've gotten good advice to start your search. If however there is a tingling of interest in my suggestion, here are some places to start your journey:Fools schoolhttp://www.fool.com/school.htm?ref=G02A06Vanguard University http://www.vanguard.com/educ/inveduc.htmlIndex funds board FAQ http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?mid=13403173Retire early home pagewww.retireearlyhomepage.com <http://www.retireearlyhomepage.com>There are many message boards at TMF that cover all the necessities, such as the "Living below your means board". Taking control of your own finances is an important step, one I hope you and your wife will take. Take care,ES
