Greetings, PCKruger, and welcome.<<My company recently switched their retirement program from a "defined benefit plan" to a 401K-matching program.Prior to the switch I had been employed for four years.Q: Am I entitled to receive anything earned under the "defined benefit plan"? Shouldn't there be something rolled into the new program?>>Maybe and maybe not. It depends on whether the plan was frozen or terminated and the vesting schedule of that plan.
