Greetings, Pseudo Tonal, and welcome.

<<I'm looking for the best deal in an IRA in which to invest foolishly. The best I've found so far is Lombard. On their web site they advertise that they have no startup fee and that their market orders over the internet are $14.95 per trade. This seems quite reasonable. If anyone has found a better offer, please respond.>>

While the price looks to me like one of the lowest you'll find, you may want to check out the Discount Brokers folder here in Fooldom. That's the area where this kind of issue is covered. You'll see a few posts there dealing with IRA accounts and trading. I'm sure you if you look in there, you will be able to find out some more info. In addition to price, you may want to look at quality of service concerns as well. While I know absolutely nothing about Lombard nor am I implying anything in that regard, to me it's an item of importance almost as much as cost, particularly with super discounters.

Regards.........Pixy
