Greetings, sullyinWA, and welcome. You wrote:

Thanx David Braze TMF Pixy for the tip on this service. But the NCOA needs to do a Checkup on their site. Can't get to the forms because of error which says site is too busy. I tried several times.

You're correct on the need for an improved server on that site. A number of folks tried last night and couldn't get on. One reader sent me this response he got from BenefitsCheckUp.com:

Thank you for using BenefitsCheckUp. We hope you were able to find out about benefits that will help your quality of life.

We are delighted to report that an unprecedented number of people chose
to use BenefitsCheckUp. Many have commented on how helpful and thankful
they were to have BenefitsCheckUp available. However, because of this
volume of users, you may have encountered delays or system overloads.
If this occurred during your experience with BenefitsCheckUp, we are
very sorry for the inconvenience.

We are working overtime to upgrade our server capacity. Please try
again soon by visiting this web site address:
http://www.BenefitsCheckUp.org.

Should you require additional help locating local resources, we
recommend you go to the online local resources link available by
clicking on The National Council on the Aging's visitor's center at
http://www.ncoa.org/visitor/index.html

Unfortunately, we are not equipped to respond to all inquiries from
users at this time. We will try our best to respond to as many users as
reasonably possible.

Thank you again for using BenefitsCheckUp

It's amazing to me that NCOA didn't anticipate a larger response so the site would be ready for it. I know I have a readership, but certainly it can't be that large to cause the site to fail right after my column appeared. Still, it did. Maybe I'm underpaid. I think I'll demand a raise. :-)

FWIW, the site worked just fine for me this morning, so perhaps the worst is over.

Regards..Pixy
