Greetings yakers. pauleckler is right, line 33 of your 1040 is where your AGI is calculated, and is the figure that counts when determining one's IRA eligibility. I have one thought one the figures in your wife's W-2. Does she pay for health and dental benefits? Those amounts are usually deducted before taxes, thus lowering your AGI, and it won't show on one's W-2. Could that be it? Short of that possibility, I dunno. But getting back to the reason of your post, listen to pauleckler.Bookm
