Growth? Yeah... you're right. That will upset me. It's the wrong answer too. In the long term it is wrong as in that time frame the issue with China is how far they will go before their own environmental issues cause them to stop, and whether they survive that stop. In the short term it is wrong as it won't come soon enough to save our sorry butts if we don't actually do what we ought have done a decade and more ago, and maintain our lead in space exploration. They get the high ground? They rule. We're being stupid, gutting NASA and worrying about some spectacular BS, planning manned missions to Mars.That happens a LOT sooner than any difference in growth rates. The Chinese on the other hand, recognize the Moon and local space as having value, and are NOT afraid of running their own country instead of letting the bankers run it.
