>>>Does anybody feel uncomfortable about booking flights on airlines that are in bankruptcy? (i.e. US Airways and United)>>>

Not any more. There was a couple of weeks window when federal legislation had expired that required airlines to honor one another's ticketing. That is back in place. Pay with a credit card. You have 60 days to dispute.

Congress extended this in December:

>>>Update 9 DEC 2004: After a brief period with the act expired, it was again extended and now expires on 19 November 2005.>>>

Now, there are always wrinkles, but I wouldn't worry about it any longer. I personally will not fly US Airways anymore. The circus their own employees created over the holidays pushed me over the edge with them. Continental from now on. They are still solvent.

At least tonite.
