>>>FFO is NOT earnings. 8 would be a very rich FFO multiple for a hotel company. FCH, as a comparable, sells around 5 times next year's estimated FFO.<<<<

I have not yet been able to make sence of how EARNINGS PER SHARE, FUNDS FROM OPERATIONS, and EBITDA compare to each other and interrelate. They never seem to be reported consistently and when I look at somrthing like Quicken I wonder what they are showing.

My guess is that EBITDA - interest = FFO and tht FFO - depreciation = earnings but they never seem to be reported consistently.
