I still remember him running down the first base line after he hit that what was to be famous home run which passed just inside the left field foul pole. The whole way down the line he looked like he was pushing the ball with his hands willing it to go foul. As it turns out it went the right way anyway. You never saw a happier guy.

I was jumbing up and down on top of the furniture. Good 'ole Pudge. Those were great days.
