>p.s. FirstUSA's interest rate is much better, too!! 9.9% vs. 14.9%. and their cust service is 24-hoursI just switched a $5k balance to a First USA Titanium because of the 9.99% fixed, which is even better than my credit union. I knew about the two cycle method, which I dislike, but at the rate I thought it would be fine. Nonetheless, it appears from my current statement that the two cycle method, as they implement it, is charging you interest on two months added together. So this 9.99% card becomes an 18-19% card on an idle balance. That an interesting application of the APR concept. Can anyway confirm that this is correct and proper? If so, please cc a copy to firstname.lastname@example.org. I have a letter to write to them this weekend, perhaps a cancellation along with it. CheersJason
