Well, after being reassured by the financial aid person in my graduate program that I wasn't going to be taxed on my tuition remission, I got a letter from HR saying that it is taxable. Soo...I have to pay the unoversity the taxes they didn't withhold so they can pay Uncle Sam.So, I guess my question is, how can I file so that I don't get hit so hard in April? I have almost no money and this surprise is really going to hurt.
