Hava: You are putting the cart before the horse. The very last thing in the world you should be thinking about is Hunter's life insurance settlement going to you. Life insurance is intended to protect family members and enable them to keep going financially in case of loss.

You. Are. Not. A. Family. Member.

Yes, I know one can make out a life insurance policy to Mr. McGoo if one likes. But the intent is to protect one's family and let them keep living and thriving after you are gone. There is a case to be made for Hunter having a life insurance policy with his daughter as beneficiary.

But you? To put it bluntly, the girlfriend of a few months? That's crazy. Aside from the plot of a noir film, I cannot think of any situation in which this would or should happen.
