Have to agree this has been a really tough spell for MDP. I was very close to bailing, but I re-upped to get other stock ideas which I blend with Options/Pro. Plus I had ridden MDP through the 2008 boom & bust and it worked out in the end. This cycle has been less forgiving.

China Green Agriculture? The thesis might pan out, but sketchy accounting is a dealbraker. Ugh.
YONG, even with better accounting, has been a dog as well.

ZIP? It's been on a downward trend since the IPO. High risk, speculative valuation. Time will tell, but if we keep digging a hole, the payoff gets further out.

EXEL? This one's going binary. I'm glad I doubled-down recently for a one-day pop, but if it doesn't pan out, this will be a writeoff. I'm hoping someone knows something I don't know, because FDA approvals are notoriously unpredictable.

ARO? I originally bought in, but did my own review and bailed in July.

CSE? It's on a better trajectory, but a long-term challenged position.

Returns in my MDP portfolio were saved by IPGP, BOOM, UNH, and my personal, off-rec decisions (e.g., LULU, a retail 3-banger I chose instead of ARO). I've given up sticking to the recs in MDP - I look at them as food for thought.
