Hello, all. Frequent lurker, infrequent poster on this board. I noticed a post by Homerthedog "This is the most well hidden board on the Fool" http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?id=1380676000105000 and had a comment.

Has any of you considered changing the name & location of the board? What if it were under the "Managing your Finances" folder (the most logical one to me) and it were called (perhaps) "Quicken for Dummies"?

The Fool board locator (the rectangular box at the bottom of the screen) sorts boards alphabetically. It is counter-intuitive for posters to search for a board named Quicken by typing in an "M" (for Mastering)

Any title starting with Quicken would do. You don't have to use my example - which is of course purloined from the whole "for Dummies" book series {lol}

I'm sure it would be good to know the technical implications of such a change. Would the history of posts carry over to the new name or be lost? Would links imbedded in articles & posts that reference this board be affected? Etc, etc, etc....

I searched the board & did not seem to find this topic discussed in the past. Any feedback is appreciated.
