Have you considered a regular IRA, instead of the Roth IRA? I'm no expert, but I do believe that the limitations for using Roth IRA funds do not apply to IRA funds, when used towards qualified education expenses. In particular, there is no requirement that the account is over 5 years old. The last information I read stated that for qualified education expenses you could basically run your IRA dry with no penalties or taxes. Assuming you qualify, you may even get a reasonable deduction for the IRA contribution. Anyone know what the exact rules are about the IRA withdrawls for qualified education expenses?
