Have you considered IJR? It's a US Small Cap ETF. And also, to keep your trading costs low, consider making your purchases every 3 or 4 or 6 months, depending on what kind of money you have to invest. You could also consider multiple investments and split it into BRK.B, RSP, and IJR - or whatever you settle on. And don't forget Emerging Markets, banking, and energy.
