The latest numbers show a marked drop in margin for the month of August. NASD margin decreased from 25,977 to 17,540. Is this bullish or bearish? I can think of arguments that support either stance. I believe the reduction in margin makes a severe market drop less likely, but it also shows less investor confidence.
