Hi to everyone on this board. My first note will have to be very brief--I just don't have the time for the moment. But I've stumbled across this board, thanks to Selena's list of boards to explore, read over some of the comments in the "Whoa" thread, and I know I'd like to participate.A few fast facts for now: I live in New York City, a real food mecca, plus I've had many many many memorable meals in France. "Memorable" doesn't mean expensive and fancy, though some of them certainly were. Some were exquisite dishes at simple restaurants, and some were spectacular items picked up at a local market. I think Fine Dining is an appropriate term for this board. To me, it doesn't have to be limited to restaurant dining, although that's certainly an important part. It's an attitude toward the quality and aesthetics of what you enjoy eating, and the environments you enjoy eating in.Sheila
