Hello Ginger,I am in Connecticut, If things don't work out tomorrow, I might be interested in a kitten. I am thinking an older cat might be the best bet, but the cat needs to be able to tolerate children. My son is almost 5 and can be a little over-lovable. I started teaching him that cats don't really like being 'hugged' but would rather be niced. I don't mind if the cat has food issues, as I don't bother them while they are eating, and I would like a cat that is mainly used to being indoors. I would love to have an identical copy of the cat that just visited...but that is a long shot. I will be very happy for a cat that just wants to sit on the couch by my side and purr...Hopefully I will be able to report that I have a new fur-baby tomorrow. Tonight I keep watching the door, waiting for VFC to come through.GTBG
