Hello

I do know of a couple of good places for parking, but if the weather is nice, go to Weehawken and take the ferry. It's a fun trip for the kids and there is a bus when you arrive that will take you directly to the Empire State Building. I think the parking is $5 and the ride is $9 but don't quote me.

You will find really cheap/safe parking on 49th and 10th at the Starlight hotel for 10 bucks.

Another alternative is to come in via GWB and park at the Holiday Inn on 57th between 9th and 10th. They are relatively inexpensive (12-18 $ for the day) and just three blocks from the Columbus Circle entrance to Central Park. It's also a good place for a bathroom stop before leaving.

From this lot, you can also find most subway lines either on 57th or cross streets between 9th and B'way.

Hope you enjoy your trip!
