Hello Jules,
His fiance was here wintering over with him It must have been truly awful for her, especially as he died early in the winter.
A terrible story. But sometimes, folks just die for no apparent reason. It is not related to any environmental variable, their time has just come. I lost a cousin to a general anasthaetic a few years ago. She was in her early 50's at the time and had gone into hospital (in New York) for a routine procedure. She never woke up. It happens.
Although being stuck in the dark for months afterwards wouldn't be good.
I am returning to Melbourne this week (hooray) after visiting my friends in Halifax, W Yorks. So my next posts to the board will be from what one of my friends (modestly) refers to as "God's own country"
aka the desert that is suburban Melbourne.
I'll post a review of the TV coverage of the GE. That should be fun...
Greetings from London
Jeff
