Hello,

Well, here are two ideas.

1. Reinvest ten per cent of pretax income.

2. Put some money in a growth stock fund with good bear market performance. The percentage is up to you.

3. Look for a good balanced fund. FWIW Vanguard's Wellesley Fund which is roughly 65% bonds and 35% stocks what intended for situations like this. They also have a Life Strategy Income fund which you might like.
