Guys/Gals,

I just found this thread and need some advice. It sounds like some of you know what you are talking about.

I live in Georgia and I still have my RRSPs with Altamira (NBC). I do not like the investment options and the managemenet fees. To whom can I or should I transfer these funds to so I can have more flexibility on investment options? Are there costs for transfering? I want to be able to buy stocks not just funds.

Everytime I talk to someone they say they can't help me because I'm a US resident and they don't have a brokerage license for Georgia.

Am I screwed here?
