I'm looking for some educational material: I am about to start doing some serious stock trading but I first want to read up on capital gains vs. profit from sales. Ideally, I'd like to find a formula that utilizes tax bracket, profit from sale, and estimated growth of future purchase with that gain. Upon selling Stock A, what % increase must Stock B need to be in order to make the sale of Stock A profitable (after taxes). I'm open to any suggestions for reference materials.
