Hey Fools,

Can someone please explain how the following are set up as a mathematical equation?

I am trying to understand their relationship within the financial statements and how an investor would use this information to appropiately evaluate the business. I have subscribed to the The Motley Fools Stock Research Reports. These percentages are at the bottom of the page, after Balance, Income, and Cash Flow statements. Could someone shed light as to the importance of these percentages?

1.) Gross Margin as a percentage?

2.) Adjusted Operating Margin as a percentage?

3.) Net Margin as a percentage?

4.) Adjusted Net Margin as a percentage?

Thanx in advance for the help?

Regards,
ChainSawAl
