I could go on and on but short and to the point I'll be. Divorced two years ago..income cut in half..emergency surgery in February, out of work for 2 months...laid off from job early last month. Depressed? Yes!!! In the great state of Alabama the top unemployment is 190.00 a week which again cuts my income to less than half of what I brougt home each week. Now..house payment is 678.00, car payment is 260.00 and one credit card is maxed at 150.00 a month. If you do the math that means I am in the hole by about hmmm...around 300.00. Any ideas on how to get creditors to lower payments or should I just run and hide with all the other homeless? Scared...
