Here is a little story for what it is worth. Through ups and downs my husband and I slogged along never starving but never grasping the brass ring. Then, one day, we found out that he had hodgkins. With the miracles of modern medicine he was cured. He was a teacher and I worked part time also so we didn't have a lot and I am a very frugal person (others call me cheap-I prefer frugal) so we didn't do much frivolous stuff because I was always saving for the disasters that seem to befall us. For some unknown reason it came over me that we needed to take our two older boys to Disney World. It was a fantastic trip. We od'd on tourism all over Florida--Disney, St Augustine, NASA. etc.
The following summer my husband contracted viral encephalitis and was dead within a month.
I could give you a sappy moral but I figure you can do that yourself.
Don't go crazy but live a little.
