Here is another Wash Rule question:

Say you buy 300 shares of XYZ stock.
A month later you sell 100 of those 300 shares and realize a loss. Is this a Wash Sale?

Sorry, I should have said: A week later you sell 100 of those 300 shares. By selling only a portion of your position in XYZ do you end up with a wash sale (since the remaining 200 shares were certainly purchased within 30 days before/after the sale)?
