Hey fellow van buyers:

My wife and I are also shopping for a new van, as our lease is up in April.

I cannot recommend the Windstar because the thing drives completely like a truck.

On Sunday we test-drove the Toyota Sienna at Carmax. Expectations were high as the van is built on the Camry platform. We were totally disappointed. The van felt very small on the inside. (Similar to the Mazda MPV) and was very sluggish driving. Our 1999 Grand Voyager SE with a 150 horsepower engine feels much more powerful than Toyota's 200+ horses. Strange.

We have had no problems with our Voyager. Still, I am reluctant to buy a Chrysler product because of quality concerns. However, given that a used Grand Voyager can be had for $4K to $5K less than a used Sienna, maybe we will buy one and plow some of the savings back into a super warranty.
