Hey Jeremy,
I just found this board while searching for the Depression board.
I've been living with chronic pain for about 18 years now. I injured my back in '88 and my right knee in '89. I have not had any surgery on my back, but have had three surgeries on my knee.
I also have Marfans syndrome, a connective tissue disorder. Because of this, I don't heal normally. The first surgery on my knee went bad...real bad, that's why I won't have surgery on my back.
To add to all this, also because of the Marfans syndrome I have an aneurysm on my aorta artery that might require surgery someday.
I had always been a physical person who was creating a career in landscaping. Today I am fully disabled and can't do much of anything physical any more. It has taken it's toll on me mentally, but I'm dealing with it.
Do you know that we also have a Living With Disabilities and Living on Disability board?
