Thanks for your response.

I particularly liked this:

And so I like the odds that I -- and the hundreds of thousands of Fools like me -- can achieve long-term investment success

Sounds good to me.

I've put in a (modest) limit order on AMZN, and just with doing that, am now paying more attention to it. We shall see what happens.
