Hey poppinpaul!

You have been a busy young man. ;) I see you're asking all over the place where to put your money. First off, welcome to the Fool, and congratulations on looking for a place to invest your money rather than a place to spend it! I'm impressed that you have such foresight at your age.

Secondly, be careful about blindly taking any advice you get from the various Fools who answer you. What you need is more education on investing, not some so-called "hot stock tip."

Since you are young, you don't need this money anytime soon, you are not terribly interested in mutual funds, and you have a relatively small chunk to start with, I'd be more inclined to go with a relatively more stable -- but still fast-growing -- Rule Maker company or two.

I'll list some reading material and other links for you. Please go through as much of this as you can before you jump into something. Though you may feel a burning desire to get this money somewhere fast, there is no rush. The more thought you give to figuring out the place for your money that best fits your individual risk tolerance, the better off you'll be. Please feel free to drop by here again or even email me with any further questions you have.

Thanks for posting, and Fool on!
