Hey Rav:Yes and yes. I read "The Men with the Pink Triangle." Excellent. Opens your eyes. Did you ever see "Bent"? The book is the real thing. When I went to Auschwitz and Birkenau, was more armed having read it. (Nearly fainted at the prisoner uniform on the wall with a pink triangle on it.) Powerful stuff."Father of Frankenstein" is decent. I respect Bram, but his six or seven books vary from long and deep to shallow and throwaway. "Almost History" might be his best. This is about a 6 on a scale of 10. It's the basis for the movie "Gods and Monsters." Did you see it? Based on openly (for then) gay movie director who directed "Frankenstein." Actually, it's one of the rare movies I liked better than the book. Two absolute gay classics, IMHO:A Single Man, Christopher Isherwood (gay author of The Berlin Stories, upon which Cabaret was based)Giovanni's Room and Another Country by James BaldwinAnd others.Best, Tom
