Hi 2Rip,
I've been wrestling with the same question. Like you, I believe that inflation is coming, the only question is when and how much.

In March of this year, I restructured my business loans and refinanced all existing loans for the longest time and lowest interest rates I could find. (If inflation does come as we expect, I'll be paying back cheaper dollars than I borrowed.)

Since that time, I have been investing ready cash in the largest companies that do business on an international scale. There have been some good deals on some of them. Among them were JNJ, PG, NOV, PM, I think you get my drift. I like DEO, but have waited too long for the price to improve, unless we have a double dip. I'll keep looking for good deals.

Don't know if this helps, and I'm also interested in what others think about about your questions.

Thanks for starting the thread.

Jack
