I know you've said this. But you haven't supplied anything that shows that the IUL terms include dividends.

OK... I know referencing real financial facts is uncomfortable to some here... but it doesn't get easier to find than this;

The credits received in an IUL is determined *partly* by the selected index price change... and also the floor & caps.
The floor & caps are determined by the cost of buying the option spread.
The cost of a given option spread includes the dividends.

while the insurance companies may receive the dividend income from their investments, not all of them pass the dividend income along in their IUL income.
100% of *ALL* IULs are built on option spreads.
There is no choice but to include dividends in the IUL credits.
