Hi AliFool.

Are you still looking?

I'm a big fan of 1and1, which I switched to a couple years ago.

They have four tiers, which they call Beginner, Home, Business, and Developer.

The Beginner plan includes 1 domain, 10GB of space, 300GB transfer, and up to 600 email accounts. Oh, and unlike most other registrars, they don't charge extra for private domain registration.

Normally it's $4/month, but right now they're running a special: Sign up for 12 months, and the first six months are only $2/each.

(So 12 months cost ($2 x 6) + ($4 x 6) = $36.

Note: They pay a referral bonus, so please use this link if you check them out: http://yourmacexpert.com/hosting

It won't cost you anything extra, but if you sign up, I'll get a bonus.

(And I've been unemployed 10 months now, and every little penny helps.)

I'm looking to switch hosting providers. Perhaps you can help me figure out if 1and1 would work for me (I'm looking at their 'home' hosting plan).

Right now, I have 6 URLs/sites that I would like to host using just one plan. (I currently use two different hosting providers with a bunch of different plans). I don't think bandwidth is an issue but I need to be able to host multiple sites (actual individual sites, not just redirects or pointers). I need an SSL certificate and I'd prefer to have private domain registration. TIA.
