Hi all,

I am trying to make the 1998 deadline for contributing my $2k for the Roth IRA. Can I make my
1999 contribution at the same time?

Absolutely just make sure to write 2 separate checks and note in the memo line which check is for which years contribution. Just in case of any confusion in the future.

What is the time window one can contribute to a Roth IRA? Could I contribute hypothetically for
my next year's quota now?

Thanks,
Sam

The earliest date you can contribute to a 2000 IRA is Jan. 1st 2000. But you always have until April 15th of each year to contribute to the previous years IRA. And of course the limit is 2k per yr.
