Hi all,
Sears has tried to screw me on several occasions:
1. Quoting for aluming siding on a garage that was more than it cost to build a new one. I built a new one myself;
2. Quoting for a new chain link fence around my yard that was four times more than it actually cost. I hired the very same people that did the work for Sears. They explained that they had to charge 4X as much, because Sears was a "slow pay";
3. Inferior repair jobs on a stackable washer/dryer
for a rental apt in FL. Said they couldn't work on the combination unit without taking it into their shop. Ordering the parts would take 10-days. A local man fixed a worn out belt in 30-min. & charged only $5;
4. A Die Hard battery that died on the lake and they
wouldn't replace it. It was one week old. I put lemons on it, in front of the store in Miami and called the local radio station. They reluctantly replaced the battery.
They will never, ever get my business back!
