Sorry you received no replies. I just saw this now. Did you land on a decision? These days AIB are refusing small businesses lines of credit, new couples mortgages and foreclosing homes on a daily basis. Meanwhile (and I'm about to sound like a socialist here), their senior managers, of which there are many, enjoy new BMW 5 Series cars and most of the perks that one might expect during the 'good times'.

More so than ever does it feel like the worst loans are issued in goods time and the best in good times. Get greedy when others are fearful springs to mind...

Sorry you (inevitably) landed a loss with this lot. If it's any consolation, so did Warren Buffett.
